Pueblan Milksnakes for sale
Name / Scientific name: Pueblan Milksnake (Lampropeltis triangulum campbelli)
Natural habitat: Native to the dry, arid regions of Puebla, Mexico, these milksnakes are often found in rocky areas with sparse vegetation where they can find cover.
Recommended enclosure size and type: A PVC or wood enclosure of at least 3×2 feet is suitable for adults, providing secure hiding spots and good ventilation. Plastic tubs can also work well, especially for younger snakes or more simplified setups.
Heat gradient: Maintain a basking spot around 85-88°F, with a cooler side in the mid-70s. Ambient temperatures should be kept in the low 80s to allow for proper thermoregulation.
Humidity requirements: Pueblan Milksnakes do best with moderate humidity, ideally around 40-50%. A shallow water dish and occasional misting during shedding are generally sufficient to meet their needs.
Feeding on: These milksnakes thrive on a diet of appropriately sized rodents. Feed juveniles every 5-7 days and adults every 10-14 days, adjusting the frequency as needed based on size and body condition.
